Logiffine secures 12,200 sqm lease with Reynolds
Logiffine finalises leasing for 100% of its portfolio with 61,200 sqm let in 12 months

13 April 2010 - Logiffine, the joint venture formed by MGPA, on behalf of its managed fund MGPA Europe Fund II and Concerto E.D. (Affine Group) today announced the leasing of 12,200 sqm of a logistics park development in Montéléger (Drôme), for a nine year period, to Reynolds SAS. This transaction marks the completion of the Logiffine leasing programme for the Montéléger site and brings the occupancy rate of its portfolio to 100%.

The 18,600 sqm logistics park is located in the Parc d’Activitiés de “Beauvert” in Montéléger, near Valence. It features three warehouse cells with ten metre clear heights, more than 650 sqm of office and employee space, 400 sqm of charging room space and 18 loading bays equipped with electric nivellers. It also benefits from excellent transport links being close to two major motorways, notably the A7.

Logiffine holds 61,200 sqm in its portfolio, split between two logistics parks: a 42,600 sqm park located in Hem (near Lille) and a second 18,600 sqm park in Montéléger (near Valence).

This transaction is the second letting for the site in the past twelve months, and follows Logiffine’s earlier letting of 6,000 sqm to LPG Finance Industrie. Additionally, the seven cells of the Hem park have also been let in the past twelve months, including 18,600 sqm to Simastock (Group Bils Deroo), 6,300 sqm to Publidispatch (Groupe STACI) and 17,700 sqm to Geodis Logistics.

Alexis Gisselbrecht, MGPA’s Asset Manager responsible for the investment declared: “We are pleased to welcome a tenant of Reynolds stature to our logistics park. We are also delighted to have let the entirety of our platforms, 61,200 sqm, between Hem and Montéléger, in one year. The beginning of 2010 has been particularly successful, having signed this lease with Reynolds just three months after that with Geodis Logistics in Hem. This strong success is proof that our buildings are of the highest quality and are well adapted to today’s logistics requirements.

CB Richard Ellis advised both parties in this transaction.
