| Research Manager | ||
Location – Hong Kong Reporting to the Managing Director/Fund Manager, the Research Manager will lead the Asia Research function for MGPA Asia. This role will provide tailored commentary and analysis to contribute to MGPA’s fund management, acquisitions, asset management and strategic planning, and also be responsible for designing and developing a research platform for MGPA. The chosen candidate will have eight years proven regional research/portfolio management experience in the Asian Real Estate Market. They will also have experience in advanced forecasting and financial modelling as well as outstanding analytical and problem solving skills. | Investment Analyst | ||
Location – Warsaw, Poland The Investment Analyst is the individual responsible for the accurate financial modelling and investment analysis of real estate investment opportunities, primarily in commercial properties. This role will report to the Asset Manager, Poland and will support asset managers and development managers in the evaluation of investment opportunities, the preparation of business plans, quarterly reports and investment committee papers, including research on the relevant markets with a particular focus on Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). Travel throughout Europe may also be required. The successful candidate will have at least two years of underwriting and transaction experience in the real estate industry, preferably with a leading real estate advisory firm, investment bank or a real estate investment fund. Candidates should hold a graduate qualification preferably in engineering/science, finance, economics or business studies and MRICS or other real estate qualifications would be beneficial. The Investment Analyst will join a small, dynamic team and can expect to work on a several projects in varying stages of analysis and value, at any one time. They will be expected to work both independently and assisting other teams such as debt capital and acquisitions. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders including agents, partners and advisors, is essential. Candidates should be fluent in written and spoken English and knowledge of a CEE language would be beneficial. Travel throughout Europe may also be required. The successful candidate can expect to be involved in several projects at any one time, with values of £20 million upwards. They will have at least two years of underwriting and transaction experience, preferably with a leading real estate advisory firm, investment bank or a real estate investment fund and advanced financial modelling and property valuation skills. Candidates should hold a graduate qualification preferably in engineering/science, finance, economics or business studies and MRICS or other real estate qualifications would be beneficial. The successful candidate will be expected to work both independently and assisting other teams such as debt capital and asset management. | Marketing and Communications Manager | ||
Location – London An opportunity for a talented individual to join the Marketing & Communications area, this role will be an integral part of the wider Business Development team which is responsible for Product Development, Client Services and Marketing & Communications. The key functions include brand development & management, corporate & internal communications and events coordination & management. This role will be responsible for coordinating global media relations and corporate communications for the company covering the Asia and European region. The role will provide the freedom and flexibility for a strong communicator to apply their creative and commercial acumen to work with senior management in evolving media relations messaging and further building the Company’s market reputation. The primary responsibilities within this role will focus on media relations and the production of high quality content to be delivered across a range of communication channels. The successful candidate will be expected to build an understanding of the business and internal clients (Senior Management and functional teams) and will work closely with other members of the area to deliver an integrated marketing and communications programme. Substantial experience will be required across a broad range of Marketing Communications disciplines including at a functional/departmental management level along with proven experience in dealing with the media and of effective working relations with Senior Management. Fund Management/Financial/Real Estate PR expertise is a strong plus. | Academy Gardens project | ||
MGPA are looking to recruit three senior roles for an exciting new retail development close to the centre of Athens. Combining retail, leisure, culture and entertainment, it will set unprecedented standards in the Greek capital. Due for completion in 2013, the 560,000 sq ft development is anchored by a high-end department store with 160 other shop units and 2,200 parking spaces located beneath. Roof top gardens will provide dining areas and terraces, with dramatic views across the city towards the Acropolis. The scheme is currently at the detailed planning stage and is due to go on site in late 2010. Leasing Director The successful candidate will manage the process of attracting and securing tenants, obtaining best value for money for the developers through suitable leasing arrangements and quality long-term revenue streams from tenants. A good understanding of Greek and European retails markets and a broad contact base within these sectors is essential. The ability to speak Greek will be a great advantage. Senior Development/Project Manager With exemplary strategic leadership skills, the successful candidate will be steering the project through the development phase into construction and through to completion. Ideally the candidate will have a background in construction and development management – the ability to speak Greek is essential. Commercial Manager The successful candidate will provide the lead in commercial and cost management, managing local Accountants and cost planners. They will be controlling the budget, so they will need to be MRICS (or equivalent) with a strong track record in cost management experience of managing the overall commercial aspects of major (ideally retail) projects.
