Investment Analyst – Beijing
 

Location – Beijing

The Investment Analyst will report to the Senior Vice President and be responsible for the accurate financial modelling and analysis of real estate investment or opportunities secured by the Investment Team.

The successful candidate will provide research data supporting the key underwriting assumptions, gaining a full understanding of all underwriting assumptions and test these to optimise returns. The role will also assist the Investment Managers in the preparation of PIP’s Investment Committee papers as required, as well as preparing accurate financial analysis and investment performance results for Quarterly Reports, Quarterly Reviews, Board Meetings and IAC meetings as required. It will also involve providing accurate financial analysis in support of key asset level capital events and investment decisions and maintaining an up to date understanding of real estate market sectors, cycles, and key performance drivers.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years experience in real estate, financial, or other field of investment analysis and a degree in Finance, Real Estate or Economics. Strong Excels skills and a numerical sense are essential. Experience with a range of software packages such as Microsoft Project and Dyna will also be an advantage. Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin is required.

Investment Manager – Shanghai / Beijing
 

Location – Shanghai / Beijing

Reporting to the Managing Director - Greater China, the Investment Manager is responsible for the sourcing, researching, underwriting and execution and co-ordination of all aspects of the performance of a real estate investment. The successful candidate will lead a project team during the acquisition, asset management and disposition phases, and is directly responsible for delivering returns from the investment. The Investment Manager will be involved in projects that vary in value from US$40 million to US$750 million, and may be involved in a number of projects at any one time.

The successful candidate will have at least seven to eight years of real estate investment and management experience, with a proven track record in real estate investment, and an established knowledge in feasibility studies, financial modeling and understanding of the China real estate market. Excellent interpersonal skills, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese are essential. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects would be an advantage.

Intern – Frankfurt
 

Location – Frankfurt

A paid internship is available immediately in our Frankfurt office for a period of 3 - 6 months. The intern will report to the Head of Germany and will support the Frankfurt team responsible for the asset management of the German portfolio.

The intern will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the commercial real estate portfolio, at all stages of the investment-cycle. They will provide support during the due diligence process, co-ordinate and analyse information with brokers and property management, assist in the preparation of lease documents and assist with reporting and liaising with external providers.

The successful candidate will be studying towards a professional real estate qualification, have relevant work experience, and knowledge of German real estate law and real estate appraisals. Great team working skills and fluency in German and English will also be essential.
